This is what I expected my restored speedo to look like. I like the white on white. I found this speedo picture in the Yahoo! GS/SS photo library so I have no idea if restored or original. Great blog - I'm getting a kick out of seeing the GS and look forward to watching the restoration. Good luck.
I lucked out with a better condition one, but that's good for me since I don't have the time or $ to restore one.

This looks great, not so different from the Veglia speedo on my TV175, Series III. I wonder whether you know anyone who has heard of Myron Possman. He sold Vespas and Lambrettas at 2701 Pico Boulevard, Santa Monica, CA, from 1961-1971.
